Since 1994, the association's staff have primarily been providing support to children and young people. The focus is on play as a way to create intense, emotionally rich, and bonding moments in a short amount of time. In the 5th district, we do this through park supervision and the parent-child meeting . In the 22nd district, we manage the activity playground on Rennbahnweg.
We take children and young people seriously and support them in participatory experiences. In cooperation with schools in the 5th district, we conduct democracy workshops and support the implementation of children's and youth parliaments .
The Fair Play Team in Margareten promotes encounters and the balancing of interests between residents through contact in public spaces or in the “Open Living Room” at the Fair Play Team Center Gretl.
We do this work with competence, heart, and appreciation. All employees are committed to child protection .

Das Fair-Play-Team Margareten stärkt das respektvolle Miteinander im Bezirk. Unsere Mitarbeiter*innen sind im öffentlichen Raum
unterwegs und fördern den Dialog im Grätzl. Wir erschließen Räume und schaffen Orte der Begegnung und des Austauschs mit und für Margaretner Bewohner*innen.

Der mini*Eltern-Kind-Treff ist ein kostenloser und barrierefreier Ort für Familien aus Margareten. Kinder bis 10 Jahre können spielerisch die Welt entdecken und gemeinsam Spaß haben. Erwachsene können sich kennenlernen, vernetzen und Erfahrungen austauschen.
Kinder- und Jugendparlament
In Kooperation mit einigen Schulen des 5. Bezirks werden regelmäßig Demokratie-Workshops durchgeführt. Kinder und Jugendliche lernen in diesen Foren ihre Meinung zu äußern, Verantwortung zu über-nehmen und aktiv mitzugestalten. Auf Bezirksebene unterstützen wir die Kinder- und Jugendparlamente in Margareten und fördern Partizipation und Teilhabe im Bezirk.
Aktivspielplatz Rennbahnweg
Im 22. Bezirk betreuen wir den Aktivspielplatz am Rennbahnweg – ein betreuter, offener Erlebnisraum für Kinder und Jugendliche. Hier stehen Bewegung, Kreativität gemeinsames Spielen, Entdecken und Tun im Vordergrund. Erfahrene Pädagog*innen begleiten Kinder und Jugendliche dabei, ihre Freizeit selbstbestimmt und aktiv zu gestalten – unabhängig von Herkunft, Geschlecht oder sozialem Hintergrund.
